Financial Planner

Derek has a wealth of financial services experience gained from working within the finance industry for more than 40 years. He has been employed by many of the major Banks including Barclays and Nat West as well as with several local financial adviser firms. This has enabled Derek to develop a deep understanding of both corporate and personal needs and he has a passion for helping clients.

Having specialised in financial advice since 1996 Derek believes in providing the highest level of service to his clients and has taken advanced qualifications to ensure his skills are kept up to date. Derek is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Associate of the Institute of Financial Services.

Believing in improving the standing of our industry and always striving to give added value Derek found a shared passion with Mark and in 2011 joined Private Wealth Management.

Derek is married with two grown up daughters and two grandchildren. He enjoys time out with his family and working out in the gym, playing tennis and spending time with his grandchildren.
